Under 13 Girls Premier win a pair

The Legends Under-13 Girls Premier finished off a very successful weekend by defeating the AFC Scorpions of Hampshire 3-1. The Legends goals were scored by Valerie Sitarz, Sara Yuill and Katie Rasmussen. Alexia Tobias and Yuill added assists while Carly Esparza, Melissa Higgins, Margaret Bannon,Tai Monge and Dana Schrock anchored the defense in front of keepers Lauren Bouchard and Rasmussen. Plainfield began the weekend with a 3-2 comeback victory over the Team Chicago Rockets. Margaret Bannon, Valerie Torres and Alexia Tobias scored for the Legends with assists by Esparza and Torres. Julie Christmas, Hannah Rehder and Kirsten Sandmire contributed to the total team effort.
